Word of the day

I like learning new words, but I'm afraid I don't do it often enough. Today's word is "gauleiter," which according to Bob Woodward (who cites Webster's Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language) it means "the leader or chief official of a political district under Nazi control." It's not going to be easy to slip this one into everyday conversation ...

How about:

Dahling those black pants of yours are more gauleiter than Gaultier

or something.
