Fun to be had elsewhere ...

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: There's some lovely discussion and spoilerage to be had chez Georg and chez Rakka and, well feel free to discuss it here if you want ... spoilers and all!

Also, the latest "Mugglecast" is spoilerific fun as well.

And, HOORAY: According to MuggleNet, J.K. Rowling has announced she will write an HP character encyclopedia!! That entry also reveals which character got a reprieve from death in DH (you have to highlight some text to see it, so you're safe clicking the link even if you don't want to know).

Oh yeah, and The Chancellory At Trinity Park (y'know, that condo thingie in my hood): Go on over to Bull City Rising and discuss.

Re: spoiler. Wow. I never would have guessed that was the reprieved character. My bet (along with many others) was on Draco.
Someone somewhere commented that Rowling should write "Hogwarts: A History" but I guess a character encyclopedia would come pretty close to that.

I want a book-length version of "The Prince's Tale," myself. But "Hogwarts, A History would be very cool indeed.

i would have bitch slapped j.k. rowling if that character hadn't been reprieved.

losing part of one of the group was enough. the full loss of another was agonizing. if the patriarch had gone as well, i would've been hoppin' mad!

but, then again, i have a thing for redheads. ;D

Yeah, that death would have supersucked. I like the entire Weasley family ... which, of course, is just what Jo intended, isn't it? (Well, OK, Percy was a prat indeed ... I'm glad they redeemed him!)
